The ICT Development Index (IDI), which has been published annually since 2009, is a composite index that combines 11 indicators into one benchmark measure. It is used to monitor and compare developments in information and communication technology (ICT) between countries and over time.

This dataset only contains the data for the years 2010 and 2015 as the ITU-D makes those available here: http://www.itu.int/net4/ITU-D/idi/2015/index.html

NOTES:
1. The data was originally in messy Excel tables and has been manually reshaped to long format, which may have introduced some errors.
2. This data has changed significantly between the 2016 and 2017 editions, including historical data as far back as 2005, but no explanation for this has been given and the data is not marked as changed.
3. The figures in the source data are 8 decimal places but have been rounded to 3 decimal places here.
4. The data for Least Developed Countries (LDCs) was first added in 2017, with full history going back to 2005.
